Make your Mark is an accessible, "no-shame" workshop that bridges the gap between the visual arts and the written word. This program is built on the philosophy that art belongs to everyone, regardless of skill level. Using everyday materials found in the home, participants create layered mixed-media bookmarks that double as functional art and personal "found poetry.” A playful exploration of watercolors, magazines, stickers, and vintage book pages to create unique, useful bookmarks.
