Community Vessel Making: Live Clay, Shared Surface is a participatory ceramic installation where the public moves from observer to creator. Using a unique paper-sheet clay and “slap-on” technique, participants collaboratively build and decorate large-scale coil vessels in a live, open-studio setting. Guests tint the clay and apply it directly to 8–10 vessels, creating a vibrant shared surface of patterns and textures.
